Warner Brothers for Kids With Cancer

A handful of artists from our "Pink Panther & Pals" production visited Warner Brothers today. The studio was holding a full-blown carnival (balloons, ponies, Ronald McDonald, and all!) for kids with cancer and we were invited to draw cartoon characters for them.

Fawn and I had never been on any of the WB lots before. This one, at Gate 11, looks like an actual suburban street. There's a winding street lined with fake (yet fully sized) houses from various TV shows and movies. Our group sat directly across from a house that was in "Lethal Weapon."

Daniel, Miguel, Stuart, and Stephanie, ready to battle the scattered requests of the kids.

Fawn and Deb, warming up.

Original Pink Panther veteran, Art Leonardi, finishing an ink-and-marker drawing.

My oddest request of the day: to combine Dumbo and the Ceshire Cat in one drawing. (If any Disney lawyers are reading this post, I have no idea where Celeste got this drawing.)

Me, geeking out at the "Friends" fountain.

Good on ya. Love you work.

you crazy californians. its good to hear that you guys are doing so well.

I don't suppose I could take a photo by the friends fountain... I could always go splash around in Bethesda fountain in Central Park....

But then the NYPD gets involved.

Great drawings guys..
