CreEEEEeeeeatures
It's great to get that occasional project that allows time for pure, random brainstorming. Here are a handful of the characters I came up with for an animated piece for Topic Design Group. The creative director chose that prehistoric rat-looking thing on the right...and he was lovingly named "Edgar."

Back from the East - Part 1: Japan

Fawn and I are back in the states and finally over the jet lag (which stuck around for a week longer than I had anticipated). Personally, I had a great time...very educational...but I'm relieved to be back home where I know I can get a pizza if I want one...or sit on a toilet seat rather than crouch over a hole...you know...the US luxuries. Now that my schedule is back to normal, I found time to organize the hordes of pictures from our trip to Japan and Thailand. I'll post Thailand photos later, but for now...this is Japan from a Bluefoot POV...

We were fortunate enough to be in Tokyo during cherry blossom season. These beautiful petals give tourists many great photo opps as well as a quick snack between meals. Mmmm.

It's rare to see clothing from Penn State (my first alma mater) in Ohio, let alone on the Tokyo Express. Go Nittany Lions!
Where's Waldo?
Because so much of my time was spent ducking under doorways, I was relieved to finally find a spot to stretch out.
I rustled me a black 'n' white. Hee-haw!

That'll do it for Japan. I'll try to add some more descriptions when I get time. Otherwise, come back soon for "Part 2: Sweating in Thailand!"
